![]() Once the area is cleared you get guided to a peaceful Robot's village led by Pascal. I love this area a lot and I spent quite a bit of time here listening to the music. Here you encounter a beautiful songstress and a fantastic boss fight. It's during along the way that they encounter Adam and Eve, a pair of androids created from…I don't know, other machines I guess? Either way they're an interesting pair.Īfter all of that you travel to the Amusement Park to rescue some lost Yorha members. Something that machines aren't even supposed to feel, yet here they are displaying them and even mimicking human actions. They meet up with the resistance and go out and do things.Īs 2B and Nines' mission progresses, they are astounded and puzzled at all the machines showing emotions. Upon arriving on Earth after the factory mission goes awry 2B and Nines venture around doing missions for Yorha to help other androids, find intel on the aliens, and to do tons of side-quests. This is a Yoko Taro game, nothing is as simple as it appears. In this game you control an android named 2B along with her companion 9S (or Nines) as they venture Earth to do missions and put an end to these aliens. To achieve this goal humanity created Yorha, which is led by androids while humanity lives on the moon. The game's story is about androids fighting to save humanity from the aliens that invaded many years ago. I hope you enjoy my rambles about this game and as stated in the thread title, there's open spoilers for everything, so proceed at your own risk. I'm not one for ever making threads at all, so for this rare event I decided to make it somewhat fancy and nice looking. Hello and welcome to my first ever Era thread. Yet here we are by some fortune of luck with NieR: Automata, a game that is something special. The original game didn't do all that well and despite a cult following for it, a sequel shouldn't technically exist. Seeing a sequel announced for NieR left me kind of surprised and shocked. The game is one of my favorite games despite shortcomings such as the game-play, which even if I had fun with it, I can admit that it's not the best. ![]() That never gets old I wish I could experience the game fresh all over again, because the game left me with a lot of emotions that not many games have managed to pull off. Upon booting it up, the game greeted me with this memorable line "Weiss you dumb-ass!". I had picked the game up used one day at my GameStop for reasons that I don't remember at all. When I first played the original NieR I didn't know what to expect. ![]() Note: This thread is a long read even after I condensed a ton of story details down.
